Carnevale Cocktails & Costumes at the Cupola!

You are invited to the Friends of Italy Society of Hawai’i Carnevale
Red Party 2026, A San Valentino celebration on Tuesday, February 17, 2026,  5pm-9pm at Stage’s Cupola room, The Cupola (Stage Restaurant), 1250 Kapiolani Blvd, Second Floor (in the Honolulu Design Center). Buffet dinner served. No host bar. Costume contest & prizes, and dancing!

What to expect:

• A delicious Italian-themed buffet by the talented chefs at Stage Restaurant.
• A cash-only No-Host bar offering a variety of drinks.
• Exciting costume contest with prizes.
  

This event is open to all members, and a limited number of tickets are available for non-members as well. So don’t wait—grab your tickets and get ready to celebrate in style!

What is Carnevale?

Like France's Mardi Gras, Carnevale is the final hurrah before the restrictions of Lent begin on Ash Wednesday. During the celebrations, which can last from a day to a month, revelers are free to eat, drink, and dance without reproof. From north to south, Italy boasts dozens of unique carnival traditions, from the Battle of the Oranges in Piemonte to the spectacular folk poets in Sicilia.

Beverage: No host bar, $5 soft drinks, $14 Italian white/red wine, $13-$17 Cocktails (Negroni/Aperol Spritz)

Attire: Red Carnevale Costumes! And bring your dancing shoes!

Parking: Parking in the structure or metered parking (until 6pm) on Kapiolani Blvd..

Price: $70/member, $80/non-members (10 max). Tickets are very limited (59 guests) so make sure you sign up right away! Become a member so you can attend this event!

Time flow: Guests are welcome to arrive at 6 PM.
