Friends of Italy in partnership with the Italian Consulate in San Francisco invites you on an exclusive engagement to tour the iconic Amerigo Vespucci tall ship. Built in 1931, this naval vessel is on its two-year good will voyage to promote the best of Italy. For members only, half-hour tours are free and will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 11 am or 11:30 am. Meet at Aloha Tower Pier 9. Dual members may bring a guest. Sign up today as attendance is limited. Built in 1930, the naval vessel that carries the explorer's namesake. It was built to resemble the wooden warships of the 19th century and features 24 sails.
