Come and enjoy Arancino di Mare specialties including Spaghetti alle Vongole, Branzino alla Griglia, and Tiramisu. Born and raised in a small island of Kagawa Japan, where it is well-known for producing olive oil, Chef Daisuke Hamamoto literally grew up in the kitchen. His father worked as a chef and owner and set his baby crib in the kitchen while working. Therefore, it was natural for Daisuke to enter the culinary field. He trained and studied at several fine Italian restaurants in Japan and Italy over the years. While on vacation in Hawaii, Daisuke dined at Arancino on Beachwalk, the first and only Arancino at that moment, and fell in love with the dishes he ate. Hearing that the restaurant was looking for a chef, it spurred his dream to work for Arancino. Thanks to his efforts and talent, he shortly became an Executive Chef of Arancino Restaurant Group. With more than 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Daisuke is one of Hawaii’s leading chefs who specializes in Italian fine dining with modern Japanese influences. Daisuke led Arancino to get awards as the Best Italian in Hawaii for years.
